SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus Admission

SRM University conducts admissions to the various Engineering, Medicine, Humanities, Management programmes through entrance examinations which are conducted annually for the students. Candidates applying for the admissions are required to apply for the exams in order to be considered for the admissions.

When applying for the admissions it is also mandatory for the students to make sure that they cross check the eligibility criteria prescribed for each of the programmes. The various entrance exams conducted for the SRM admissions include SRMJEEE. SRMJEEH-UG, SRMJEEN, SRMJEEM, etc. Admissions to the Science Humanities programmes will be conducted based on the merit of the students in the qualifying exams.

Top Placements

SRM University conducts the placements for the Engineering, Management and other discipline undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The SRM University placement cell conducts the placements for the students annually. Over 600 companies participate in the placements at SRM University annually placing roughly 75 to 80 percent students who register for the placement drives. The top companies which participate in the SRM University placements include TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Siemens, L&T and others.

According to the details of the 2020 placements conducted the institute saw 4751 offers made on Day1 of the placement drive. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 41.6 LPA by Microsoft. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Aruba Networks, Optum, GE Digital & Power Conversion, Udaan.com, Neilson, Amazon, Honda, MIQ, Paypal, Barclays, Amadeus, ZS Associates, VM Ware etc offered an average salary package of. Rs.10 LPA + salary packages. Companies like include Deloitte, Capgemini, Siemens, Amdocs, ABB, RBS, Daimler, IFB, KPMG, L&T Construction, Berger Paints, Hashedin, Temenos, TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro offered an average of Rs.5 LPA + salary packages.
