Pradeep Singh hails from Tewari village in Sonipat, Haryana. His father was sarpanch of the village and Singh’s main inspiration in his journey towards the IAS
Pradeep worked in the Income Tax Department after clearing the SSC exams.
Pradeep Singh completed his entire education from Sonipat, his schooling from Shambhu Dayal School and computer science engineering from DCRUST College.
Singh achieved rank 1 in his fourth attempt. His third attempt saw him achieving a rank of 260 and being selected for the IRS.
During the job, whenever he got time, he used it to study for the exam. Pradeep used to finish his work early in the office so that he could get a chance to study during lunchtime.
Pradeep believes that it is difficult to clear UPSC without time management. and etermination and consistency are the two most important aspects of the IAS preparation.
