First Phase
The first phase will cover 102 constituencies across 21 states and four UTs.
End by Friday
After the first phase of voting, 11 states and union territories, including Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and the North Eastern States, will complete their elections.
Parallel State Assembly Elections
State assembly elections are taking place in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim even as the Lok Sabha polls go on.
Reserved Membership
There are 18 SC reserved seats and another 11 ST reserved seats out of these 102 seats.
New Voters Engagement
According to the National Commission, first-time voters (3.57 million) and young voters (aged 20-29, 35.1 million) are participating in this electoral phase.
Election Schedule Phases
The elections are divided into seven phases, from April 19 to June 1.
