Artificial intelligence for education
She mentioned that three centres will be set up to promote Artificial Intelligence in the field of education, with a budget of 500 crore.
Relief for middle-class taxpayers
The government rationalised the process of tax-deduction for the middle-class taxpayers, hiked it from 7 lakh to 12 lakh.
Tourism and Innovation
To boost tourism in India, 50 more tourism destinations will be developed. ‘Heal-in-India’ initiative to promote international patients.
Funding for startups in India
The Finance Minister has mentioned that new funds for startups will be launched with a contribution of almost 20,000 crore by the government.
Boon for Bihar
She said in the Budget speech that there is a plan to establish a National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Management in Bihar.
Excellent internet connectivity
Nirmala Sitharaman emphasises the importance of providing good internet connectivity to all the government schools and hospitals in India.
New Income Tax Bill
The Finance Minister mentioned that a New Income Tax Bill is all set to be introduced next week and to raise the FDI limit from 74% to 100%.

PM Dhan Dhyan Krishi yojana is a scheme announced by Sitharaman to boost the farmers productivity, and aims to benefit 100 crore farmers in India.
