Armed Forces Medical College is an affiliated college of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik located in Pune, Maharashtra, established in 1948. AFMC, Pune is the first medical college set up by the armed forces of any country in Asia. The college is accredited with &lsquo;A+&rsquo; grade by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). AFMC, Pune has been approved by the NMC (National Medical Commission), INC (Indian Nursing Council) and DCI (Dental Council of India).
