IIM Trichy Admission 2026
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy offers a diverse range of academic programs, including PGP, PGPBM, Executive MBA, and PhD. Admission is based on performance in national-level entrance examinations and subsequent selection rounds.
Candidates willing to take admission to IIM Trichy need to qualify for the entrance test that the institute conducts.
MBA/PGPM Admission: Candidates seeking admission to the MBA/PGPM programme must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university. Students who are in the final year of their undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply. Selection is based on the candidate’s CAT score, followed by performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round. DPM Admission: For admission to the Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM), candidates must hold a master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA), or a two-year postgraduate diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate, along with a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks obtained after a minimum of three years of study. The selection process evaluates candidates based on scores from accepted examinations such as GMAT, CAT, GRE, GATE, the IIMB Test, or UGC-JRF. Shortlisted applicants are then required to appear for a Personal Interview, which plays a crucial role in the final admission decision.
