To make learning easier for the students, Google has created a new AI Model named Learn Your Way, which is an experimental algorithm. This new AI model is a new approach which transforms traditional academic texts into interactive learning that includes:-

  • Visual learning

  • Customised

  • Adaptable

This new AI model, Learn Your Way, shows what is possible when Google’s cutting-edge AI research is combined with effective learning science. It was developed in partnership with pedagogy specialists and is research-backed to ensure quality and efficacy for all learners.

Textbooks are an important aspect of education, but they also have a basic limitation: they are a one-size-fits-all approach. Textbooks can sometimes lack alternative views, multiple forms, and individualised modifications that might improve learning outcomes and engagement. Google has, with this new AI model, Learn Your Way, ways to alternative representations or personalised examples while also maintaining the underlying material’s integrity.

What is Learn Your Way, Google’s New AI Model?

Learn Your Way,  which is now available on Google Labs, or is a simple search away, is a research experiment that explores how GenAI might transform educational resources to offer a more effective, learner-driven approach, and engaging for all students. This New AI model will outline the research and pedagogy.

The Learn Your Way, a new experimental AI model from Google, prompts the learner to first upload any PDF and then select their grade and interests and then personalise it according to their preference. Given below are some steps to use Learn Your Way, an experimental new AI model from Google for interactive learning:-

  • Upload any preferred topic PDF, and then click the start learning button.

  • The next step is to select the grade that the student is studying in, the levels range from class 4th to Undergraduate.

  • In the next step, the new AI model for interactive learning will ask the student to select their interests, and then will personalise the topic based on it.

  • There are four types of personalisation that a student can make their choice from, which include Immersive text, Audio Lesson, Slides and Narration, and Mind Map.

  • The adaptive quiz is the following stage once the student has completed the lecture in their preferred learning method.

  • Learn Your Way will then offer tailored feedback on the student’s attempted quiz.

  • One more feature of the Learn Your Way, a new AI model, is that the student can review only those areas as per requirements.

The list of subjects for which students can use Google’s experimental new AI model, Learn Your Way, to improve their learning experience is given below:-
