It was established by the Kalyan Bharti Trust. HIT, West Bengal has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and the B.Tech course has been accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata course admission to B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech and MCA are done on the basis of JEE Mains/WBJEE/JELET, WB PGET/GATE and WB JECA scores respectively. Admissions to the B.Des course is done on merit basis.
Step-by-step Heritage Institute of Technology admission process 2023:
- Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.
- For admissions to the B.E/B.Tech course, 80% of seats are filled through WBJEE, 10% of seats through JEE Mains and the remaining 10% through management quota.
