Punjab Technical University: Highlights
IKG PTU Jalandhar offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is either merit or entrance-based. Candidates must fulfil the I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. Large number of students get placements every year at the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. The varsity invites a number of organisations to its placement drive every year. The I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University placement cell manages and handles the placement related activities. The placement cell is called the Corporate Relations and Alumni Department (CR&amp;A). To provide students with good placement opportunities, the university has tie-ups with many industrial associations. It has collaborations with Jalandhar Management Association (JMA), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE Chandigarh), etc. IKG PTU placement cell prepares students for the placements by organising workshops, seminars, mock interviews, etc. It acts as a bridge between the recruiters and students. The placement cell also provides various internship opportunities to the students.&nbsp;
