IIT Roorkee Placements 2024: Highest Package, Branch-wise No. of Offers

The IIT Roorkee Placements 2024 have shown impressive results, with the highest package offered reaching remarkable figures. The placement drive sees a diverse range of job offers across various branches, with each department securing a significant number of placements. This year, top companies from technology, finance, energy, and research sectors have contributed to the robust placement scenario.

IIT Roorkee received 607 job offers by the end of day three of its 2024-2025 placement session. The offers comprise four international placements and 603 domestic offers, with 140 companies providing 180 job profiles across various sectors, including technology, finance, energy, and research.

The institute emphasised diversification this placement season, providing customized opportunities that cater to students' individual interests and a broader spectrum of job functions.

The placement drive at IIT Roorkee saw participation from top companies such as Adobe, Amazon, American Express, Cohesity, DevRev, Ebullient Securities, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Boston Consulting Group, Graviton Research Capital, DE Shaw, JP Morgan Chase, Quantbox Research, Oracle, Qualcomm, ITC, Sprinklr, ThoughtSpot, Wells Fargo, Google, SquarePoint Capital, Dream11, iRage Capital, Plutus Research, Cars24, VMock, Hindustan Unilever, NVIDIA, Cairn Oil & Gas, Texas Instruments, HPCL, GAIL, Schlumberger (SLB), Bajaj Auto, Intel, Tata Steel, OLA Electric, Microsoft, IBM, Micron Technologies, and many more.

The official press release stated, “IIT Roorkee has collaborated with industries focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics, semiconductor technology, and sustainability, addressing the rising need for skilled professionals in these innovative areas”.

The institute has not revealed the Cost to Company (CTC) due to restrictions imposed by the All India Placement Committee (AIPC). Other IITs, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Kharagpur, have also begun their placement drives.
