IIM Shillong is one of the recently new IIMs to be set up by the Government of India. Established in 2007, the college ranks 26th in the management category as per NIRF 2023. Located in Meghalaya, the college ranks at the 11th position among all IIMs. IIM Shillong is globally renowned because of its international collaborations with universities like FPT University Vietnam, Woosong University South Korea, among many others.

IIM Shillong is declared as an &lsquo;Institution of National Importance&rsquo; by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. The institute offers admission to <a href="https://www.jagranjosh.com/exams/business-management">MBA </a>and doctoral programmes based on the national/state-level entrance examination. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examination to fulfill the IIM Shillong admission criteria to be eligible for admission. IIM Shillong has a campus size of 120 acres with a student and faculty count of 419 and 22 respectively.
