Admission to IIM Jammu is entirely entrance-based and accepts exams such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, and UGC-NET/JRF for courses such as MBA, Executive MBA, MBA-Healthcare, MBA-AI & Business Analytics, Doctoral Programme, & eBBA, and IIM Jammu conducts a separate exam for IPM that is JIPMAT (Joint IPM Admission Test). Each of these programmes has different admission requirements. Here are the details of MBA programme admissions given below: Students applying for the flagship MBA must appear in the CAT exam and have to get an eligible score. Candidates who meet the CAT cutoff score and have filled out the application form for IIM Jammu will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview, which includes Group Discussion (GT) and Written Test Ability (WAT), on the basis of the CAT score. Candidates who appear for the Personal Interview will be considered for admission, where the Final Score will be calculated, and the admission letter will be sent to candidates based on their Final Score. Final Selection or merit list is based on the overall score obtained in CAT, PI & academic profile, work experience, and gender diversity. Interested students need to submit their personal documents like 10th, 12th /Diploma, and graduation, semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets of Bachelor’s degree, etc., and copies of work experience certificates (if applicable). Certificate of disability (if applicable), Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer certificate, EWS certificate (if applicable). Candidates who meet the IPM cutoff score and have filled out the application form for IIM Jammu will be shortlisted for VARC, QA, & DILR on the basis of the JIPMAT score. Candidates who appear for the VARC, QA, & DILR will be considered for admission, where the Final Score will be calculated, and the admission letter will be sent to candidates based on their Final Score. Final Selection or merit list is based on the overall score obtained in the JIPMAT exam, VARC, QA, & DILR, Class 10th, and Class 12th. Interested students need to submit their personal documents like 10th and 12th marksheets. Certificate of disability (if applicable), Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer certificate, EWS certificate (if applicable). Application Process To apply to IIM Jammu, candidates must complete the online application by filling in the required information. Required Documents: Marksheets of Class 10th, 12th, and Bachelor's degree (for MBA students). Full-time PhD students at IIM Jammu receive a fellowship that covers all tuition, campus fees, and free hostel housing. This program is designed to take care of all academic and basic living expenses.

• Contingency Fund Usage: This grant is intended for the purchase of books, stationery, journal subscriptions, and professional memberships. Note that the annual insurance premium is automatically deducted from this fund.
• Teaching Assistantships (TA): Scholars must complete one mandatory unpaid TA assignment per year. A second TA assignment is permitted for a fixed stipend of ₹10,000.
• Self-Sponsored Candidates: Students admitted under the self-sponsored category are required to pay the full program fees as per IIM Jammu regulations.
• Administrative Rights: The institute reserves the authority to adjust fee structures or introduce new charges, with prior notice provided to the students.
