Indian Institute of Technology Bombay which is popularly known as IIT Bombay is a public university for Tech. studies, established in 1958 by the Govt. of India. It is&nbsp;located in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. IIT Bombay is one of the top Indian Institutes of Technology and it has received the status of &lsquo;Institute of National Importance&rsquo; in 1961. It is ranked 3rd on the NIRF 2023 Ranking List under the engineering category.

IIT Bombay offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. Admission to the courses is based on various national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations to fulfill the IIT Bombay selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The Placement and Training office handle the IIT Bombay Placements. With the help of staff, officers and students, the placement office puts in tremendous effort to conduct the placement process in a coordinated and structured manner. The placement drive 2022 has been concluded and has achieved an amazing response. The recruiting firms made a total of 1878 job offers to students; from these, 1441 offers were accepted during the 2022 placements. IIT Bombay has a campus size of 550.00 acres with a student and faculty count of 12004 and 678 respectively.&nbsp;
