Indian Institute of Technology Indore which is popularly known as IIT Indore is a public university for Tech. studies that was established in 2009 by the Govt. of India It is established in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. IIT Indore is among the eight young Indian Institute of Technology and it is officially recognised as an &lsquo;Institute of National Importance&rsquo; by the Govt. of India. It is ranked 14th on the NIRF 2023 Ranking List under the engineering category.
Indian Institute of Technology Indore: Highlights
IIT Indore offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations and appear for the examination to fulfill the IIT Indore selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The placement drive is organised by the IIT Indore placement cell. Various companies take part in the placement drive. The placement cell guides and trains the students for the best job opportunities during the placement drive. Many recruiters also offer internship opportunities to the students. The institute has a campus area of 501.42 acres with a student and faculty count of 1814 and 134 respectively.
