Indian Institute of Technology Patna which is popularly known as IIT Patna is a public university for Tech. studies that was established in 2008 by the Govt. of India. It is established in Patna, Bihar, India. IIT Patna is one of the newest Indian Institutes of Technology which has been recognised as the &lsquo;Institute of National Importance&rsquo;. It is ranked 41 on the NIRF 2023 Ranking List under the engineering category.
Indian Institute of Technology Patna: Highlights
IIT Patna offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on various national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations and appear for the examination to fulfill the IIT Patna selection criteria to be eligible for admission. IIT Patna placement cell handles the entire placement process taking place at the campus. The placement cell acts as the bridge between the student and the recruiters. IIT Patna has a campus area of 500.00 acres with a student and faculty count of 1816 and 124 respectively.
