IAR Gandhinagar offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is either merit or entrance based. Candidates must fulfil the IAR admission criteria, to be eligible for the courses. Institute of Advanced Research has a Training and Placement Cell that assist students with job placements. The Placement cell maintains relations with industries to keep the students updated about the ongoing industry demands. The cell organises various seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, symposia, workshops and exhibitions to train the students for placements. The placement cell also provides training on personality development, communication skills, resume writing, writing letter of application, interview techniques, etc. UG and PG students should have passed all the previous semester examinations and Ph.D students should have submitted their thesis to participate in the campus placement. Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar placement is conducted both on-campus and off-campus. The university also provides infrastructural facilities like a room for group discussion, audio-visual-aided hall, etc for smooth conduct of the IAR placement process. The placement cell supports students with both internships and job placements.&nbsp;
