Nirma University, Ahmedabad which is popularly known as NU Ahmedabad is a multi-disciplinary, state private university which was established in 2003 and is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is run by the Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF). It has received the status of "Centre of Excellence" by the Govt. of Gujarat. It has also been recently awarded with A+ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in the third cycle of re-accreditation. As per NIRF rankings 2023, Nirma University is placed in the 101-150 rank band.

Nirma University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on both merit and entrance examination. Candidates must fulfil the Nirma University admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. Nirma University has an Industry Institution Interaction Cell which conducts the campus placement drive. As per the Nirma University placements, students received offers in various sectors including Information Technology, Banking, EdTech, FinTech, Automobile, Engineering, Manufacturing, Power, Oil & Gas, Services sectors and many more. The university also provides internship opportunities to its students in organisations like Deutsche Bank, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, Reliance Industries, Intel and many more. Admission

Nirma University offers course admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. The admission is based on both merit and entrance examination. Nirma University admission to the B.Tech is offered based on JEE Main or GUJCET scores. For admission to the M.Tech and M.Pharma, candidates must have a valid score in GATE and GPAT. However, for non-GPAT and non-GATE candidates the university conducts its own entrance test. The MBA admission is done based on CAT and GMAT scores. Further, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling process. The final admission is confirmed after the verification of documents and payment of fees. Students can also avail Nirma University scholarships under certain criteria.
