The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research was established in 2007 and is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It was established by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India with six other NIPERs all over India. The college is ranked at 13th position in the Pharmacy category as per NIRF rankings 2023. NIPER, Ahmedabad has collaborated with many international universities like Harvard University, the University of Washington, the University of Newcastle Australia, Liverpool John Moores University, etc.
