Established in 2010, NITAP is a public research institute that was a part of the newly formed 10 NITs. National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh: Highlights
NIT Arunachal Pradesh has granted the status of &lsquo;Institution of National Importance&rsquo; by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. It offers admission to UG, PG and Doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on various national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to appear for the respective entrance examination to fulfill the NIT Arunachal Pradesh selection criteria to be eligible for admission. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has a placement and training cell that caters the responsibility of conducting the placement drive every year. Various reputed organisations and firms are invited by the placement cell to hire fresh graduates. The institute is situated in 301 acres of land with a student and faculty count of 608 and 53 respectively.
