SGPGIMS Lucknow offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates must register for the respective entrance examination and appear for the examination to fulfill the SGPGIMS Lucknow selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The institute offers placements to final-year students. The students of D.M. and M.Ch. programmes are appointed as senior residents after admission to the programmes. Whereas, M.D. programme students are appointed as junior residents after their admission. SGPGIMS Lucknow has a campus area of 550.00 acres with a student and faculty count of 627 and 241 respectively.
