School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi which is popularly known as SPA New Delhi is a public institute for Architecture and Planning, established in 1941 by the MOE, Government of India. It is established in New Delhi, an autonomous institute and a fully Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI). SPA Delhi is recognized as the ‘Institute of National Importance’. SPA Delhi offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Admission to the courses is based on entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for the respective entrance examination and obtain a valid score to fulfil the School of Planning and Architecture, admission criteria to be eligible for the courses. The SPA Delhi placement and training cell consists of student representatives, industry experts and departmental representatives. Admissions to Ph.D courses are merit-based, both full-time and part-time. Ph.D aspirants are required to study the Research Methodology course.
