All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhubaneswar or AIIMS Bhubaneswar which was formerly known as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose All India Institute of Medical Sciences, is a medical college and medical research public university. It is situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It operates autonomously under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It was established in 2012 on 15 July 2003, the foundation stone was laid by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. AIIMS Bhubaneswar has granted the status of &lsquo;Institution of National Importance&rsquo; by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. It is ranked at 17th position in medical category as per NIRF rankings 2023.
