Established in 1952, Deshbandhu college is affiliated to Delhi University. Located in Kalkaji, the college is one of the oldest and the most prestigious colleges in South Delhi. Currently, ranked at the 17th position by NIRF rankings of 2023. NAAC has accredited the college with the &lsquo;B++&rsquo; grade. The college offers programmes in the fields of arts, commerce and science and is approved by the UGC.
Deshbandhu College, New Delhi: Highlights
DC New Delhi offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Admission to the courses is based on CUET examination. Candidates must appear for the respective entrance examination and obtain a valid score to fulfill the Deshbandhu College, Delhi admission criteria to be eligible for admission. Deshbandhu College has a Placement Cell which is actively involved in recruiting and providing career counselling to students. The Placement Cell acts as a link between the recruiters and students. It helps them to identify and improve their talents, abilities, strengths and limitations. Their goal is to assist students in achieving their goals. The placement cell organise various engaging workshops, seminars and sessions with the goal of reducing the skills gap between what companies need and what students possess. The college has a campus size of 10.50 acres with a student and faculty count of 4400 and 201 respectively.
