What are the programs offered by IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Campus
Starting August 2025, IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi will launch three 4-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs, including:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Energy Science and Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
These programs are designed to equip students with the skills required to thrive in the rapidly changing global technology landscape.
IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Admissions Criteria
Admissions will be carried out through two methods:
- JEE (Advanced) 2025: A total of one-third of all available seats will be reserved for candidates selected through this examination.
- Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025: Two-thirds of the total seats will be filled through CAET 2025, offering admission opportunities to:
The campus welcomes UAE nationals, international students from around the world, as well as Indian expatriates who have completed at least five years of their prior education in the UAE.
Exam Pattern for CAET 2025
Test Format:
- A 3-hour, pen-and-paper test
- Conducted in English
- Comprising 60 multiple-choice questions, divided equally among three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Test Sessions:
- Session 1: February 16, 2025
- Session 2: April 13, 2025 (The higher score will be considered for selection)
Test Centres: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah (UAE), and New Delhi (India). Additional centers may be introduced for Session 2
