The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is one of the seven oldest IITs in India, along with IIT Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Guwahati, and Roorkee. The IIT Delhi has recently released the information Brochure for admission to its PhD, M.Tech., M.S.(R), M.Des., MPP, M.A. and M.Sc. programs for the academic year 2025-26. The application registration opened on March 22, 2025, and concluded on April 7, 2025. The written examination or interviews will be conducted between May 14 to June 16, 2025. Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech Admissions 2025 At IIT Delhi
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers various M. Tech./ M. Tech (High-Value Assistantship) and M.S. (Research)programmes administered by various Departments, Centres, and Schools. Some of these programs are interdisciplinary (IDP), involving multiple academic departments. In these programs, students from various academic backgrounds can apply. Typically, M.Tech, M.Tech (High-Value Assistantship), and M.S.(R) programs are announced in March each year through Employment News and an electronic media platform. The entrance test or interview is then conducted in May.

Given below is the list of eligibility criteria for M.Tech Admissions 2025 at IIT Delhi for the academic year 2025-26:-
- A candidate with a B.Tech or M.Sc. degree in a specific field can apply for one or more programs.
- A candidate belonging to the General category/OBC category should have scored at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- A candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/PwD category should have at least scored 60% to 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
- A candidate should have valid GATE Scores to seek admission to the institute.
Programs Offered Under M.Tech Admissions At IIT Delhi
The application registration for admission to the M.Tech program offered by IIT Delhi commenced on March 22, 2025. The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as a part-time program and a full-time program. The duration for the course as a part-time program is 36 months or 3 years, with 6 semesters, and the duration for the course as a full-time program is 24 months or 2 years.
The part-time program is offered to the working professionals, this was done to enable the working professionals to pursue their studies as well as attend their classes with considerably lower load than the full-time students.
