GATE 2025 Scores Key Highlights
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is a national-level examination which was arranged by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and was conducted in a CBT (computer-based test) mode. This examination assesses a student’s understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities.
For the candidates who have appeared for the GATE 2025 examination, the GATE 2025 results have been released on March 19, 2025. The GATE 2025 scorecard can be downloaded from March 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025. After the mentioned dates, a fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged to access the GATE 2025 scorecard. Candidates can go through the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) portal to access their results or on the official website.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is administered by IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bangalore, and seven IITs ( namely Guwahati, Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee). This examination is conducted on behalf of the National Coordination Board- GATE, under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The GATE scores help a student secure admission to various master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in fields like engineering, humanities, technology, architecture, science, commerce and arts. They are also used for admission to Doctoral programs in related fields at institutions supported by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other government agencies. These scores also help the student secure financial assistance towards the mentioned programs.
