SRM University Chennai Admission 2026
SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers course admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and super-speciality courses in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law and Medicine, among others. Apart from full-time courses, the University also provides various distance-learning courses via SRM Online/ Distance Education (SRMODE). The SRMIST admission varies depending on the course. For some courses, admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination while for others it is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination.
The entrance exams through which admission is conducted is based on the marks obtained in JEE Main, CAT, GATE, NEET and other entrance exams conducted by the university itself and many more. Aspiring candidates can visit the official website of the university to fill the application form for registration. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process, group discussion and personal interview. For the final admission, candidates have to submit the documents for verification and pay the course fees. Candidates can also avail SRM Institute of Science and Technology scholarships under certain criteria.
SRM University Chennai Eligibility 2026
SRM IST admissions are based on merit or entrance exam scores of the candidates. The basic eligibility for admission to undergraduate courses is Class 12 pass, whereas graduation is required to apply for PG programmes.
