It is established in Guwahati, Assam, India. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati: Highlights
IIT Guwahati offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations and appear for the examination to be eligible for admission. IIT Guwahati, has a Centre for Career Development, which manages all the placements. The IIT Guwahati placements cell sends an invitation to the recruiters and asks them to register on the placement portal of the IIT Guwahati. During the placement drive, companies visit the campus and conduct tests and interviews for the recruitment process. During the placement process, the candidates undergo six months of internship in the final semester. These internships will provide the students with an amount of exposure for the professional world.&nbsp;
