Application Process 

• To begin the process, candidates must register and complete the application forms for the specific national-level entrance exams required for their chosen course. For example, those aiming for BTech must apply for JEE Main and subsequently JEE Advanced. Similarly, applicants for the MSc program are required to complete the IIT JAM application.

Selection Criteria 

• IIT Guwahati follows a selection process based on entrance exam scores and counselling:
• BTech: Selection is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores.
• MTech: Admission is granted through GATE scores followed by COAP Counselling.
• MSc: The institute considers IIT JAM scores and CCMN Counselling.
