Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad which is popularly known as IIT Palakkad is a public university for Tech. studies that was established in 2015 by the Govt. of India and has received the status of &lsquo;Institute of National Importance&rsquo;. It is established in Palakkad, Kerala, India. IIT Palakkad along with 5 new Indian Institutes of Technology established in 2015. Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad: Highlights
IIT Palakkad offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on various national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations and appear for the examination to fulfill the IIT Palakkad selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The institute has a Career Development Cell (CDC) which assists in providing training and placement processes for its students. It organises assessment tests and aptitude and guides students with interview and resume preparation. The cell also focuses on industry collaborations to help students with placement opportunities by providing industry visits, workshops, events and Career Oriented Sessions. The institute has a campus area of 500.00 acres with a student and faculty count of 751 and 86 respectively.&nbsp;
