MUJ admission to its UG, PG, PhD, online and certificate programmes is based on academic performance and entrance exam scores followed by the personal Interview. Except for BTech and B.Arch, all other UG courses accept admission on the basis of Class 12 performance. Admission to its MBA programme is done on the basis of national-level entrance examination scores. The university conducts its own entrance examination Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for admission to the programmes. Admission to the PhD programme is based on the entrance examination.
