NIT Meghalaya offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is made through&nbsp;an&nbsp;<a href="https://www.jagranjosh.com/exams/engineering">engineering exam</a>.&nbsp;It also offers <a href="https://www.jagranjosh.com/colleges/management">management college</a> programmes. Candidates are required to appear for the respective entrance examination to fulfill the NIT Meghalaya selection criteria to be eligible for admission. NIT Meghalaya placement activities are managed by the Centre of Career Development. The aim of the placement centre is to help students develop leadership skills, and professional and business ethics. The placement drive is held for research scholars and final-year students. Internships are available at the Centre of Career Development for students in the second, fourth, and sixth semesters of various courses. The centre also offers career counselling and employability enhancement programmes. NIT Meghalaya has a campus size of 300 acres with a student and faculty count of 995 and 80 respectively.&nbsp;
