NIT Srinagar offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is based on national/state-level entrance examinations. Candidates are required to appear for the respective entrance examination to fulfil the NIT Srinagar selection criteria to be eligible for admission. The placement and training cell of the university takes care of all the placement activities. Apart from organising the placement drive, right from the training of the students till the personal interview round, the placement and training cell focuses on the holistic development of the students. Training sessions related to the enhancement of presentation skills and soft skills are frequently conducted by the cell.
