Before its return, the train has undergone slated technical maintenance at the Mysuru workshop between May and August. Its exterior has been refurbished, the onboard kitchen modernised and hospitality facilities advanced. Reports also signal that two new suites have been added to attract premium travellers.

Beyond transportation, the train also covers accommodation, onboard dining, hospitality and organised sightseeing. Its premium pricing cements it as a dedicated holiday experience.

Travellers who missed the maiden departure can explore the 2026–27 journeys, although availability and discounts will rely on trip dates. The train comprises two onboard restaurants, Ruchi and Nalapaka, which has a mix of Indian and global cuisine. Madira, the onboard bar, provides a selection of wines, beers and spirits for guests during the journey.

Passengers can also experience Arogya, the spa and fitness centre onboard, which combines traditional Ayurvedic therapies with upgraded fitness equipment.
