India’s diplomatic and policy calendar for 2026 and 2027 includes major domestic gatherings as well as international summits where India is a host, participant or a crucial stakeholder. The calendar spans energy, trade, climate, regional security, emerging technologies and Global South cooperation. Some dates for 2027 are yet to be formally announced.

Major summits and conferences in India — 2026

India Energy Week 2026 — Goa, 27–30 January 2026. The event brought together energy ministers, policymakers, CEOs and participants from more than 120 countries.

4th India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-IV) — New Delhi, 31 May 2026. India hosted the summit in collaboration with the African Union Commission.

BRICS Summit 2026 — New Delhi, 12–13 September 2026. India hosted the 18th BRICS Summit during its 2026 chairship.

Raisina Dialogue 2026 — New Delhi, a major annual conference on geopolitics and international affairs.

India Mobile Congress 2026 — New Delhi, a major telecommunications and technology gathering.

Major international summits involving India — 2026

SCO Summit — Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 31 August–1 September 2026; Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the leaders' meeting.

G20 Summit — Miami, United States, 14–15 December 2026. The United States holds the G20 presidency in 2026.

ASEAN Summits and East Asia Summit — Philippines, with the main ASEAN summit scheduled for 10–12 November 2026.

COP31 — Antalya, Türkiye, 9–20 November 2026, the UN climate conference.

Quad meetings — India, Australia, Japan and the US; India hosted the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi on 26 May 2026.

Major international summits in 2027

G20 Summit 2027 — United Kingdom; the exact date and venue are yet to be announced.

BRICS Summit 2027 — China. China will assume the BRICS chairship and host the 19th BRICS Summit.

SCO Summit 2027 — expected under the next SCO chairmanship

ASEAN and East Asia Summit 2027 — the Philippines' 2026 chairship will be followed by the next ASEAN chair in 2027
