Established in 1996 by the Ministry of Education of India, BBAU is a central university located in Lucknow. It has been accredited with the ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. Currently, it ranks on the 78th position in the overall category and on the 55th position in the universities’ category by the NIRF rankings of 2022. Approved by the UGC and MHRD, the campus is spread over an area of 250 acres with facilities like moot court, library, hostel, sports complex etc.

BBAU Lucknow offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, certificate, diploma and integrated programmes. The university accepts CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance tests conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Candidates must visit the official NTA’s website of BBAU Lucknow - (bbauet.nta.nic.in) to register themselves and appear for the examination for admission to the university.
