A dental course is an educational programme or curriculum that focuses on dentistry and prepares students for careers in oral healthcare. Eligibility criterias of BDS colleges in India-
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th examinations with Science courses, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
- Furthermore, candidates need to meet the age restriction conditions, i.e. they must have 17-25 years of age at the time of admission.
- Qualifying the NEET exam is mandatory.
Eligibility criterias of MDS colleges in India-
- Candidates should hold a BDS degree from a dental institution or institute accredited by the Dental Council of India.
- Prior to enrolling in the MDS programme, they must have completed their BDS internship.
- Candidates must achieve a minimum of 55% aggregate in all subjects of the BDS course.
- They should be qualified for the MDS admission examination.
Eligibility criterias of Diploma Dental colleges in India-
- For undergraduate Dental Diploma courses, students must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- They must have studied the Science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biochemistry as key topics in Classes 11 and 12.
- By the time of enrollment, students pursuing a postgraduate dental diploma should have completed a BDS or undergraduate Dental Diploma degree, as well as a mandatory rotating internship.
