Lady Hardinge Medical College which is also known as LMHC, New Delhi is a government medical school for women which functions under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it was established in 1916 and is affiliated to the University of Delhi. LHMC was named in memory of Lady Hardinge who laid the foundation of the Institution. The College offers undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD, MS, PG Diploma) and super speciality (DM, M.Ch) courses in various specialisations.

The admission registrations are done in online mode. The selections are done on the basis of the performance/rankings in the NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET MDS, NEET SS etc. exams, followed by a counselling process. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance exam on its official website and appear for the exam to be eligible for admission. NEET 2023 application form submission has been reopened by NTA (National Testing Agency) on April 11 and the last date to submit application forms is Apr 13, 11.59 PM. The NEET 2023 exam will be conducted on May 7.

There are 200 MBBS seats offered by LHMC for female candidates and the post-graduate courses were started in 1954 which are open to both male and female candidates. It is in association with Smt Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, RML Hospital and Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital.
For the UR/ EWS category the qualifying score is 50th Percentile and the marks range required is 715-117. For OBC category the qualifying score is 40th Percentile and the marks range required is 116-93. For SC category the qualifying score is 40th Percentile and the marks range required is 116-93.
LHMC has two teaching hospitals, Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital with 877 beds and Kalawati Saran Child Hospital with 350 beds.
