Madras Medical College is a government medical college established on February 2, 1835. It is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is one of India's oldest medical colleges. It is ranked 12th among the top medical colleges category in the NIRF 2022 rankings. Madras Medical College is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University. The college has nine affiliated institutes with hospitals. It is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and (INC) Indian Nursing Council. Madras Medical College Course Admissions
Admission to MBBS programmes is done on the basis of NEET UG score (State Quota-85% & All India Quota-15%). There is no entrance exam conducted for admission to B Pharma, BSc Nursing and BPT. Admission to the MD programme is done based on the rank obtained in the Tamil Nadu Post Graduate Entrance Examination for 50% of seats and for the remaining 50 % of seats, based on rank obtained in the NEET PG. Selection for the M.Pharma programme is done on a merit basis and through counselling. For MS and PG Diploma, admission is based on the merit list of NEET PG followed by the counselling round. There is no need to fill the Madras Medical College Online application form because NEET itself release its application form for admission to the college.

- Attend counseling after qualifying the entrance exam.
