JIPMER Puducherry offers various UG, PG, super-speciality, and post-doctoral programmes in Medical and Health Sciences, namely including BSc, MBBS, MSc, Master of Public Health, MD, MS, Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Fellowship, Post-Baccalaureate Diploma (PBD), PhD, and (PDF). Admission to all the programmes is based on the entrance examination. The institute accepts the scores of national-level entrance examinations and also conducts its own entrance exams for admission to several programmes. Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG examination and Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and AIIMS Delhi.
