ICFAI Business School Hyderabad is a part of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education - Deemed University. IBS Hyderabad is one of the top business schools in India Ranked at No. 12 in the country by the Hindustan Times in a survey in 2012.

ICFAI Business School has been re-accredited by SAQS (South Asian Quality Standards) rated A++ by CRISL, EB2 IN by ICRA and as an excellent business School by Eduniversal. The institute is one among the top 15 Business Schools in the country to have received the Globally accepted AACSB accreditation.

The programmes offered at IBS Hyderabad include MBA, hD and BBA programmes. ICFAI Business Schools has one of the largest MBA programmes in Asia with an intake of around 1100 per year.

There are close to 60 students in the PhD programmes and over 300 in the BBA programme. The institute has also signed MoUs with 15 institutions in USA, UK, Australia and Malaysia enabling the PhD students to engage in a 9 month visitor Scholar programme abroad. Along with the full time PhD programmes, the institute also has part-time PhD programmes facilitating working executives with their doctoral aspirations.

ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad Admission

ICFAI Business School conducts the admissions to the three year BBA and BA Economics programmes and the MBA programmes based on the marks secured by the students in the qualifying exams and the performance of the students in the personal interview conducted by the institute.

Students are required to qualify the class 12 qualifying examinations with the minimum marks required. Students are also required to fulfill the minimum age criteria for the admissions to the UG/PG programmes. In case the students do not fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned, their admissions will be cancelled. Candidates selected will be given their selection letters on the day of the interview and will be given their provisional admission which is subject to payment of admission fee.

Candidates applying for the MBA programmes also need to have work experience in managerial or supervisory positions for a minimum of 2 years. Candidates not meeting the eligibility for English in graduation will be required to submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores.

Top Placements

ICFAI Business School conducts replacements for the BBA, BA Economics and MBA programmes. According to the placement report for 2021 more than 149 leading recruiters participated in the campus placements conducted by the institution. IBS students are trained to be all rounders which is evident in the placement record.

As per the ICFAI Business School placement report, close to 93 percent of students were placed with an average salary of Rs. 7.97 LPA. The highest salary offered at the national level is Rs.15.89 LPA and international salary of Rs. 50.23 LPA.

The average salary offered to the top 10% was Rs. 15.35 LPA and the average salary for the top 25% was Rs. 11.53 LPA.
