As per an official statement, the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) received 1,128 job offers and 424 internship opportunities during its 2024-25 placement season.

In the IIT BHU 2024-25 placement season, the highest cost to company (CTC) offered is Rs 2.20 crore per annum, while the average package is Rs 22.80 lakh.
The director, Prof. Amit Patra, stated, "These placement results strengthen our standing as a leading institution that produces industry-ready professionals. The talent of our students and our dedication to excellence continue to draw top-tier recruiters."

The placements have spanned a wide range of industries, including technology, consulting, finance, and core engineering sectors. Notable recruiters in the recent session include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Steel, Amazon, Databricks, ITC, Samsung, Oracle, Walmart, Qualcomm, and others.
The first phase of the IIT BHU placement drive started on November 30 and ran until December 12, 2024. During this phase, the CTC offered ranged from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1.65 crore.
The second phase of the placement season started in the first week of January 2025 and will continue until April 30, 2025.
The institute will publish detailed graduate outcome data by May 30, 2025, outlining job offers, placements across various industries, and other important metrics, offering a comprehensive view of the placement season's success.
