IIIT Una Admission 2026
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Una offers admission to its B.Tech and M.Tech programs for the 2026 academic session. To be eligible for admission, candidates must fulfill the specific eligibility requirements for their chosen course.
Admission Process & Entrance Exams
Admissions are determined by performance in national-level entrance examinations:
- B.Tech Admissions: Based on JEE Main ranks. The Session 2 exams for 2026 were conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026.
- M.Tech Admissions: Primarily based on GATE scores. The results for GATE 2026 were declared on March 19, 2026.
Counselling & Seat Allocation
Once entrance results are announced, candidates must participate in the centralized counselling process:
- For B.Tech: Seat allocation is managed by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). International students or NRIs may apply through the DASA scheme. Any remaining vacant seats are filled via CSAB special rounds.
- For M.Tech: Selection is done through CCMT counselling. In certain cases, the institute may also consider a candidate's academic record followed by a personal interview.
