Which IIT has the Smallest Campus in India?

When we think of an Indian Institute of Technology, we usually picture enormous green campuses, long bicycle rides between lecture halls, several hostel establishments, and acres of land alive with student activity. The Indian Institutes of Technology have long been associated with enormous campuses, some of which are bigger than small cities.

But what happens if this stereotype is subtly broken by an IIT?

What if student creativity, industrial relevance, and academic culture are more important factors in engineering education than land size? Parents who compare infrastructure, students might wonder how new-generation IITs operate differently from legacy ones. There might be some questions along the lines of:-

  • Which IIT has the Smallest Campus in India?

  • Does a smaller campus mean fewer opportunities?

There are some Indian Institutes of Technology which embody a new campus planning philosophy in a time when learning is becoming more collaborative, and innovation is more people-driven than space-driven.
