Dr. B.R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and MBA courses in the field of Engineering. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of NIT Jalandhar in order to seek admission. For B.Tech and M.Tech admissions, candidates must appear for JEE Mains and GATE entrance exam respectively. • Admission is based on the score secured in the entrance exam. After the release of cut offs, candidates must register on the official website of the Institute and upload all the documents including certificate and marksheet of qualifying examination. 
• Once the documents are verified, admission is confirmed and candidates can proceed to pay the fee. 

To enroll in UG, PG and PhD courses offered by NIT Jalandhar for this academic year, candidates need to have these eligibilities: 

1. B.Tech: Candidates should have a minimum  75% aggregate in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD), with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects.

2. Post-Graduate Courses: Courses like M.Tech/M.Sc/MBA candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 for SC/ST/PWD).

3. Ph.D.: A Master's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA. Candidates doing their final year examinations are also allowed to apply provisionally.
