IIM Raipur Admission 2026
Admission to IIM Raipur is entirely entrance-based and accepts exams such as CAT for courses like MBA, MBA in Public Policy and Governance, Executive MBA-HRM, and PhD. Each of these programmes has different admission requirements, and here are the details given below:
- Students applying for the flagship MBA must appear in the CAT exam and have to meet an eligible score in it.
- Candidates who meet the CAT cutoff score and have filled out the application form for IIM Raipur will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview on the basis of the CAT score.
- Candidates who appear for the Personal Interview will be considered for admission, where the Final Score will be calculated, and the admission letter will be sent to candidates based on their Final Score.
- Final Selection or merit list is based on the overall score obtained in CAT, PI & academic profile, work experience, and gender diversity.
- Interested students need to submit their personal documents like 10th, 12th /Diploma, and graduation, semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets of Bachelor’s degree, etc., and copies of work experience certificates (if applicable).
- Certificate of disability (if applicable), Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer certificate, EWS certificate (if applicable).
Application Process
- To apply to IIM Raipur, candidates must complete the online application by filling in the required information.
- Required Documents: Marksheets of Class 10th, 12th, and Bachelor's degree. Caste Certificate (if applicable), Disability certificate for PwD category students, Work experience letter (if applicable), Bonafide Certificate for candidates currently in their final year of graduation, and Bachelor's degree certificate or provisional degree certificate (as applicable).
- Applicants need to pay the application form fee and submit it.

IIM Raipur provides comprehensive financial support to its full-time Research Scholars to cover academic and living expenses. This assistance ensures that scholars can focus entirely on their research without financial burden.

Scholars receive ₹50,000 per month in the 3rd year only after completing the first two years and passing the Comprehensive Exam (whichever occurs later). |

Caution Deposit |
A ₹30,000 deposit is required at registration. This is fully refundable upon graduation, minus any outstanding dues. |

Contingency Grant |
Funds are provided for academic essentials: books, stationery, software, journal subs, professional memberships, and thesis travel. |

Insurance |
Annual health/life insurance premiums are automatically deducted from the scholar's Contingency Grant. |
|
Self-Sponsored Entry |
Candidates joining the full-time DPM without a scholarship must pay the standard fees applicable to the "PhD in Practice" track. |
|
Fee Revisions |
The Institute may adjust fees or introduce new charges as necessary, provided students are given prior official notice. |
