IIM Mumbai's 2025 Placement Season:  IIM Mumbai has wrapped up the first phase of its 2025 placement season, successfully securing job offers for all its experienced students. The institute received a total of 373 offers from 78 companies, with Microsoft extending the highest offer of Rs 54 lakh per annum.

IIM Mumbai's Phase 1 placement season commenced on November 25. The placement process for students with less than 20 months of work experience is scheduled to commence in January. This phase saw participation from 78 companies, including 20 first-time recruiters. Accenture led the recruitment drive, extending 41 offers, a significant increase from the previous year. The company extended offers with an attractive annual compensation package of Rs 37 lakh.

The 2025 placement season at IIM Mumbai has been highly successful," stated Neeraj Pandey, chairperson of placement. "Companies that had previously hired two or three students have significantly increased their hiring numbers this year. There has been a surge in opportunities, especially in the logistics and consultancy sectors. All students with work experience and a portion of the freshers have already secured placements. The remaining freshers will be placed in the upcoming January round.

IIM Mumbai Achieves Strong Placement and Internship Results for 2025

Traditional sectors such as operations and supply chain management remained prominent, with several companies recruiting graduates for specialised roles. Alongside the placements, the summer internship process for the Class of 2026 also saw strong outcomes. A total of 128 companies offered 425 internships, each worth an average of Rs 3 lakh for two months. Coca-Cola led the way, offering the highest stipend of Rs 5 lakh, setting a new standard in the business internship sector.
