The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, offers new applicants a unique chance to visit the campus and experience IIT Delhi before making an admission choice. For the first time, IIT Delhi is hosting the Open House in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. By organising the Open House in these three major cities, IIT Delhi hopes to reach a larger audience and allow students from other regions to interact directly with prominent staff, students, and alumni of IIT Delhi.
The Open House, hosted by IIT Delhi, will inform potential students about IIT Delhi's strong entrepreneurial culture. The person in charge of the Training and Placement Cell will discuss the exciting prospects open to students. The Open House is hosted only for the students who have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2025.
Open House at IITD Key Highlights
The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi’s Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives hosts the 'Experience IITD' program, which includes the Open House event. This Open House event of IITD aims to assist the JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers in making informed judgments by providing information about IIT Delhi's academics, research, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and campus life.
During this Open House, the Institute intends to answer questions about the course structures, hostel life, employment opportunities, research exposure, and international connections. Aim of the Open House of the IIT Delhi
The primary objective of organising this Open House event is to allow students seeking admission to various courses following the JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers to understand and make educated decisions about the options that will be accessible to them once they decide to join the institute.
Below are some of the main aims that will be discussed during the Open House event of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi:-
- The Open House at IIT Delhi will feature an interactive session that will provide information about the institute’s academic quality, inclusive environment, and the student support service that will be provided.
- Participants will also have the opportunity to hear from the head of the Office of Career Services (OCS), who will discuss the various career, placement, and internship possibilities available at IIT Delhi.
- A special session will also highlight IIT Delhi’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, demonstrating how students are encouraged to turn their ideas into an effective business.
- The event will also discuss the undergraduate admissions at IITD’s Abu Dhabi campus. The session will provide insight into the admissions process and life at IITD-AD.
To enhance the experience for the aspirants participating in this Open House event, IIT Delhi students will give live demonstrations and exhibitions, providing participants with a glimpse into the multitude of co-curricular options available at IITD.
