
IIM Nagpur was established in 2015 and is officially recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the IIM Act 2017. Admission to IIM Nagpur is entrance-based; it accepts exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT. IIM Nagpur offers courses such as MBA, PhD, PhD Executive, Executive MBA, Blended MBA, and EMBA-EM. The admission process at IIM Nagpur is divided into 3 stages:
IIM Nagpur admission is based on different parameters for courses like MBA, Executive MBA, etc., and Admission to such courses is entrance-based. The CAT cutoff is used for selecting eligible candidates.
The CAT cut-offs will be used for selecting eligible candidates for all subsequent stages. The CAT 2025 score is the single criterion used for shortlisting in this stage. Only candidates with positive scores (>0) in all sections of the CAT will be considered for the admission process.
Students who appeared for CAT 2025 and meet the cut-offs will receive an email/ communication from IIM Nagpur. Candidates who would like to pursue their candidature further for admission to the MBA at IIM Nagpur must fill out the application form before the deadline.

The cutoff for 2026 has not been announced for CAT. Students must appear in the CAT exams and need to have an eligible score in the CAT to apply to IIM Nagpur. More details about cutoff is given below:

After the completion of the Personal Interview, the Final Score (FS) of each candidate should be computed using the following formula for final selection:
{Final Score (FS) = 45% CAT Score + 25% PI Score + 6% PAP + 9% Work Experience + 5% Academic Diversity + 10% Gender Diversity}
IIM Nagpur Placement 2026 is divided into two parts: Final Placement and Summer Placement. The placement report for 2026 has not been released by the official site. Students can refer to the placement details for 2025.
IIM Nagpur Final Placement had more than 60 companies participating in the placement drive for 246 students. IIM Nagpur had 264 students, of whom 18 students did not participate in the campus placement drive.
