It is the 31st National Institutes of Technology in India and has been recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. NIT Rourkela Admission 2025
NIT Rourkela offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes. Admission to the programmes is made through national/state-level entrance examinations followed by the counselling sseions and personal interviews. Candidates are required to register for the respective entrance examinations to fulfill the NIT Rourkela selection criteria to be eligible for admission. NIT Rourkela PhD admission is based on percentage scored by the candidate in their master’s degree.
Step-by-step application process:
- Candidates have to appear for the national/state-level entrance examination as per the desired course.
- Selected candidates will be then called for a personal interview and counselling round.
- Final admission is done after the verification of documents and payment of fees.
